Recreational Family Fun & Adventures Await

About this space

Entertain outdoors in a covered, lit patio with a grill and cooler. Stay warm with 2 propane fire pits or the indoor wood-burning fireplace. The fenced-in yard is pet friendly.

The nearby Rec Center offers a gym, splash pad, and indoor pool with water slide ($7 day pass). Enjoy basketball, baseball, soccer, and tennis all within walking distance — we provide the sports equipment. Explore nearby parks with playgrounds and trails using our bicycles. It’s a short drive to Washington Square Mall, restaurants, and grocery stores.

The space

Recently renovated and conveniently located in a popular Beaverton neighborhood close to amenities and shopping, just 15 minutes from downtown Portland.

The unit is on the lower floor of a split-level building, with a few steps down to enter. The property is monitored by exterior security cameras (front door, backyard, and parking areas) for guest safety.

Guest access

Guests have full access to the apartment and the fenced-in backyard and patio. Shed(s) are off limits. Please take care not to access neighboring tenants’ apartments by accident.

Traveling with kids

A pack-n-play is always available in the main bedroom closet — let us know if you’d like it set up before you arrive. We provide kids’ blankets, washed fabric toys, and books.

House manual

Bedrooms: Each bedroom has a dimmer light switch, and each nightstand has USB charging ports.

Patio smart home: An Alexa is located in the desk cabinet under the router. Try “Alexa, turn on/off Fountain” or “Alexa, turn on/off Edison lights” (lights turn off automatically at 10pm).

Propane fire pit: 1) Open the side lid. 2) Turn on the propane tank by unscrewing the top knob. 3) Close the side lid. 4) Turn the front switch until you hear a short hiss. 5) Depending on which fire pit, press the rubber igniter button or turn the knob to the marked position on the diagram.

Indoor fireplace: 1) Open the flue/damper by moving the lever left until loose, so smoke goes up the chimney. 2) Load a few small kindling pieces below the black metal grate. 3) Load 2–3 larger pieces at angles on the grate above the kindling. Starting and maintaining a fire takes some technique — a quick video tutorial helps if it’s your first time.

We put a lot of effort into preparing this place for every guest and love improving it further — please let us know if anything is missing so we can do better.
